Critical Insight is an online event hosted by influential industry publication Data Centre Review. The series returns this November for a fourth year following a successful debut in 2022.

It will be packed with three days of debate and discussion about the future of the data centre sector with some of the industry’s foremost experts.

The focus of the latest Critical Insight event will be navigating the evolving industry landscape. Amidst a backdrop of rapid growth in demand for compute in the age of AI, the sector is faced with supply chain issues, an energy crisis, and an ongoing skills shortage.

The event provides a platform for key industry leaders to discuss their insight and opinion on such important topics, while giving attendees from across the world the opportunity to put their questions to the experts.

Riello UPS will also be represented on Day 1 of the event (Tuesday 11 November 2025), with our Technical Services Director Jason Yates leading a session starting at 10:50 am on the subject: ‘Worried about your water usage? Check your UPS’. He'll explore how higher-efficiency UPS designs can reduce thermal load, ease cooling requirements, and indirectly lower water consumption.
